October 2021 Events
October is right around the corner, can you believe it? In Orlando the Halloween season is getting ready to start and there are so many spooky events and places to visit. Disney World Orlando has stated that their Halloween event is sold out at this time, but don’t worry there are so many more happening. Universal Studio for example, has a great Halloween event you can check out and many more happening in the Orlando area.
We’ve made a short list of some of the Halloween events we thought you might be interested in! Getting to these events and attractions can be stressful if you’re unfamiliar with the area, that’s where we can help. A Petrified Forest
Location: 1360 1360 E Altamonte Dr, Altamonte Springs, FL
When: Various days throughout October, starting October 1st.
About: The Petrified Forest is located about 20 minutes from downtown Orlando. This is an annual night-time pop-up event, you and your friends will walk through the haunted forest and encounter spooks and monsters! The “Total Eclipse” night you must sign a waver and it’s for those 18 and up only.
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resorts
Location: Universal Orlando Resorts
When: Starting October 9th until October 31st
About: Universal Orlando Resorts is celebrating the 30th year of this Halloween event. This event “bringing together the stories and visions of the world’s most notorious creators of horror. From cinematic greats and crazed current cult favorites to the park’s original abominations—every year, the legend grows and the experience reaches beyond your wildest nightmares.” This is an event you won’t want to miss if you love Halloween and scary movies! Also explore some haunted houses and get the thrills and scares of a lifetime!
Howl-O-Scream SeaWorld® Orlando
Location: SeaWorld® Orlando, 7007 SeaWorld Drive, Orlando FL
When: Recurring weekly on Sunday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
About: Prices for this event start at $31.99 USD, its good to plan ahead and make sure you have a ticket before arrival, in case an event is ever sold out. Howl-O-Scream as mentioned before is a ticketed event at SeaWorld Orlando, this event promises guests a night of fan favourite terrifying Halloween scares that include, haunted hisses, scare zones and terrifying shows!
The Haunted Road
Location: 15239 Lake Pickett Rd, Orlando FL
When: Starting September 30th and running on various dates until November 1st.
About: Located on one of the most haunted roads in Florida, you can now experience this scary attraction from the comfort of your vehicle for this scary drive through attraction. You'll be going down this spooky road and we don't want to say too much, you'll just have to experience this one for yourself.
13 Films of Halloween
Location: 1300 Orlando Ave, Orlando FL
When: October, 2, 5, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 23, 24, 26 and 30th.
About: Time to check out the 13 Films of Halloween! “Every October, Enzian showcases a series of scary movies and events so you can celebrate Halloween all month long. The lineup features programs for all ages and includes midnight films and cult classics.” This event also includes 13 Cocktails of Halloween that are available throughout October at Eden Bar and Eden Bar’s Halloween Party!
